Meet our intern:
Cecelia earned her Bachelor’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Liberty University, specializing in Christian Counseling. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Over the past five years, Cecelia has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families, providing support through various challenges.
She has specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapy, equipping her to help clients navigate grief, loss, and relational difficulties. Her professional background has given her a profound understanding of abandonment and attachment-related issues.
Cecelia is committed to fostering a safe, supportive environment where clients can engage in self-exploration, healing, and personal growth. With an empathetic, client-centered approach, she helps individuals and families build resilience, develop essential coping skills, and achieve emotional well-being. She strongly believes that everyone possesses innate strengths that, when nurtured, can lead to meaningful personal transformation.
Outside of her professional work, Cecelia enjoys spending time with her family and attending church. As a mother of eight in a blended family, she values connection and community. She and her husband initially started a farm to provide for their family, but her deep compassion for animals led them to transform it into a no-harm sanctuary, where the animals now thrive in a safe and loving environment.
